Competitive Program
Our Junior Olympics Teams are competitive teams whose divers are selected thoughtfully by our coaching staff. Continuous placement in our JO groups is not guaranteed, and we consider the divers motivation, maturity, character, work ethic, and commitment in addition to their diving abilities.
Our three competitive teams are designed to prepare divers to compete in USA Diving competitions, in Highschool, or become recruitable college athletes.
- " Junior Olympic Elite Team
- " Junior Olympic Competitive Team
- " Competitive Novice Team
Junior Olympic Elite Team: The goal of this team is to prepare divers to become recruitable NCAA athletes with a full competitive dive list. These divers have the desire to dive in college and beyond. This team consists primarily of high school and advanced middle school divers.
Junior Olympic Competitive Team: The goal of this team is to prepare athletes to become recruitable NCAA athletes in building strong proficiency in the necessary fundamentals. Those divers show potential in the sport of diving and may have the desire to dive in college and beyond. The divers should have a full diving list for 1 m, 3 m and platform.
Competitive Novice Team: The goal of this team is to learn strong diving fundamentals and prepare their first diving list. Typically, young divers start in our Learn to Dive program and advance to this Competitive Novice Team once they are able to compete. Many of the divers in this team are promoted to our Elite Team.
